What I Offer
My name is Ben Tinsley, I'm a Computer Science undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, where the course has a strong mathematical focus.
I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE Maths (equivalent to an A*) and A*s in both Maths and Further Maths at A Level. I offer tutoring at 11 Plus, GCSE, A Level, and university admissions to help students build a deeper level of understanding, build confidence, and excel in exams.
My online sessions are tailored to focus exactly on what the student is struggling with to ensure the best learning. Whether it's moving from a GCSE grade 4 to 6, grade 8 to 9, or attaining a specific A Level grade to get into University, I can help.
I can also curate worksheets to help with what they find challenging to reinforce learning between sessions, if desired.

11 Plus
11 Plus is the test for admission to grammar schools. Having passed this myself when I successfully applied to grammar school, I can help prepare the student for the exam, and work through problems to help them learn how to ace the entrance test.
GCSE
I can help students succeed in the topics required for GCSE Maths, and GCSE Further Maths.
A Level
I teach both Maths and Further Maths, helping students grasp advanced concepts and tackle exam questions confidently.
TMUA
The TMUA is the admissions test for Computer Science and Economics at Cambridge. I scored in the top 10% in the TMUA and have since deepened my maths skills through university level study. I can help students prepare effectively for this challenging exam.
